We are seeking an exceptional Lead GP to join our forward‑thinking NHS GP surgery. This is a senior clinical and leadership role, ideal for an experienced GP who wants to shape high‑quality patient care while influencing the operational direction of a modern primary care service. The Lead GP will also be working within a wider organisation with the additional benefits of support, experience and resource from multiple business functions and with peer support through the company network. You will combine clinical excellence with company strategic oversight, supporting the competent and friendly practice team to deliver safe, effective, and sustainable care. This role includes protected leadership time, responsibility for clinical governance, and involvement in operational decision‑making and performance improvement.

Knowledge, Training & Experience (Person Specification)
Essential:
- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and inclusion on the performers list.
- Minimum 3–5 years post‑CCT experience (or equivalent seniority).
- Demonstrable leadership experience within primary care.
- Strong understanding of NHS primary care operations, QOF, IIF, and CQC frameworks.
- Excellent communication, team‑working, and problem‑solving skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in clinical governance, service redesign, or quality improvement.
- Interest or qualification in leadership, management, or education.
- Experience working within a PCN leadership structure.
