In this role, you’ll ensure the service runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely, delivering high-quality care to our patients. You’ll manage and inspire a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, drive operational excellence, and work closely with stakeholders to continuously improve the service.

What we are looking for?
We are seeking an experienced healthcare leader who can take charge of a busy walk-in centre and deliver excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have:
- Recent management experience with a proven track record of leading teams.
- Strong understanding of autonomous practice within a minor illness or Urgent Treatment Centre.
- Knowledge of adult and paediatric minor illness guidelines and their application in clinical services.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage performance and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of clinical pathways and service delivery standards.
- Computer literacy and comfort using data to monitor performance.

Sheffield Walk-in Centre sees approximately 77,500 patients annually through walk in and those booked directly into the service through 111. We have a close relationship with the local hospitals and work across the city with our external partners, to ensure we are providing high-quality care for our patients.
