At OneMedical Group, we’re looking for a motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our growing finance team and manage the daily accounting duties. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their skills, gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of financial activities, and ensure all financial outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with OneMedical Group’s vision and values. Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including cashbooks, ledgers, balance sheet accounts.
- Process private income invoices, payments, and expense claims.
- Profit and loss analysis.
- Preparation and input of monthly journals.
- Raising invoices for recharges and reimbursements.
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
- Assisting with audit file preparations.
- Other ad‑hoc tasks as requested by other senior members of the Finance team.
- Preparation of ad‑hoc financial analysis to support decision making.
Requirements
- Graduate, Part qualified (AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or working towards qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong Excel skills (data export, pivot tables, filters).
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
- Flexible approach to meet business and team needs.
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
Location
Our head office is based at Bank Top Support Centre, just outside Leeds (LS21 1PY). Please note there is no public transport nearby, so own transport is required. We offer a dog‑friendly workspace and a relaxed, welcoming environment where people (and the occasional four‑legged friend) are all part of the team.
