Bracknell Urgent Care Centre, part of OneMedical Group, is looking for a Patient Navigator to join us on a Permanent part-time contract. You will join a thriving and dynamic team and help to facilitate the journey of all our registered and unregistered patients. The shift pattern available is Wednesdays 4 pm - 8 pm (4 hours) and Sundays 8 hours shift. The applicants must have the flexibility to work this pattern.
The Patient Navigator/Receptionist will form part of our front of house team to provide patient focused telephone and administration services that assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professionals. They will facilitate and deliver a patient centric experience, supporting all other functions in delivering outstanding patient care, utilising a variety of platforms including front of house (reception), back office support functions and telephone services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient focused telephone and administrative support.
- Assist and direct patients to appropriate services or healthcare professionals.
- Facilitate the patient journey across front of house and back office systems.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Experience using IT systems.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience as a Patient Navigator/Receptionist desirable but not essential.
We offer unsociable hours pay (30% extra) for the hours worked after 6pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and all-day Saturday and Sunday.
