The Homes team have recently gone through a restructure, as we have refocused our energy and changed our processes so we can better support our customers and do what matters to them most. As a result, we have a number of exciting new roles which have become available.
You will carry out the operational duties of an all-round multi-skilled operative, including associated works, across the full range of repairs services on all One Manchester's owned and managed properties. You will visit premises and properties to carry out maintenance, repair, refurbishment and renewal work to both tenanted and empty homes.
What we're looking for:
- To have served and completed a recognised trade apprenticeship or appropriate NVQ L3 standard.
- Evidence of key competencies specifically in plumbing (core trade), plastering, joinery and tiling.
- Working knowledge of legislation relating to H&S and CDM.
- Experience of working within a customer facing environment offering excellent customer service.
- The ability to work carefully, methodically and safely with good planning and organisational skills.
- Be able to accurately record, document and complete work activity through mobile devices or other appropriate means.
- As this role involves visiting our properties across Manchester, you must hold a full UK driving licence.
