We have an exciting opportunity for an Income Assistant to join our Income and Allocations team. As a key part of the service, you’ll help support the delivery of essential business functions by working closely with customers, internal departments and external partner agencies.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the effective and efficient operation of our income collection processes, with a particular focus on managing and reducing former tenant arrears, which will make up approximately 50% of the role. You’ll independently manage a caseload, engage with former tenants and negotiate affordable and sustainable repayment arrangements.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in an administrative role and working to tight deadlines
- Experience of working in a targeted environment and delivering on KPI’s
- Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative to meet objectives/deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of IT systems.
- Able to maintain records and to write concise, accurate and relevant notes.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
