About The Role

You'll support the qualified repairs and maintenance operatives of our Repairs Team in delivering high-quality plumbing repairs and maintenance across domestic and commercial properties, ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, safety, and customer service in line with One Manchester policies.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist with plumbing repairs and emergency works across One Manchester properties, including traditional, new-build, and commercial premises.
  • Work from verbal and written instructions, drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Organise workload effectively to meet deadlines, targets, and quality standards.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and tidy work areas and leave properties in good condition.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Attend college and complete training towards an NVQ Level 3 Plumbing qualification.
  • Support One Manchester's business objectives and performance targets.
  • Accurately record data and report any data quality issues promptly.

We're after someone who has:

  • Strong interest in plumbing.
  • Basic understanding of the construction industry and trades.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to supporting local communities.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop while balancing work and study.
  • Commitment to learning to drive and obtaining a driving licence.
  • Commitment to completing a Level 3 Domestic Plumbing qualification (or equivalent).
  • Willingness to achieve English and Maths qualifications if not already held.
