Available to work during the hours of 8:00am – 7:00pm Monday – Friday and Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm.

You’ll provide a customer-focused financial inclusion service to help customers manage their finances and improve their financial capability avoiding legal action and potential eviction. This role will empower residents to sustain their tenancies. We deliver both welfare benefits advice and money guidance support. Informing residents of their welfare rights with the aim to ensure they are receiving all the benefits they are entitled to and support residents with possible grant and/or charity applications.

Experience we are looking for:

  • Able to provide personal financial advice and guidance
  • Knowledge and experience of provision of welfare benefits advice including relevant legislation such as Welfare Reform Act 2012
  • Computer literate. Experience of housing management systems and case management systems.
  • Able to design and deliver Financial Inclusion training courses for One Manchester customers
  • Self motivated and able to work on own initiative to meet required deadlines
  • A driving licence and ability to drive.

You must be able to work shifts during the hours of 8:00am – 7:00pm Monday – Friday and Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm. You must also be able to attend our outreach locations listed below as required: Gorton, Fallowfield, Hulme, Rusholme, Clayton. These may change from time to time.
