About The Role
You’ll support the Assets Team by leading Asset Management and Sustainability at One Manchester by developing and delivering effective asset and climate change strategies. Ensure housing assets support the organisation's business plan, meet statutory and regulatory requirements, maintain decent homes standards, improve energy performance, and provide high-quality homes for customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and implement a long-term investment strategy to maintain housing stock, reduce lifecycle costs, drive innovation, and secure funding for sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain accurate asset data and ensure effective links between planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
- Conduct asset investment appraisals and sustainability analyses to maximise asset value and inform investment decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve social value for tenants through energy efficiency, renewable energy, and reduced fuel costs.
- Oversee the collection, management, and accuracy of stock condition, compliance, and energy performance data.
- Monitor KPIs, produce performance reports, and provide affordable investment and sustainability forecasts.
- Ensure stock condition surveys, audits, and data validations are completed accurately and on time.
What We’re Looking For
- MRICS qualification or equivalent professional/academic qualification.
- Significant management-level experience in Asset Management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with customers and consultants.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant housing and asset management legislation.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and IT skills.
- Ability to assess and manage risks associated with asset investment decisions.
