Our client, a leading disputes practice, is looking to add to its team with the appointment of a Sanctions Associate.
The Firm
Based in Central London, the firm is a specialist practice best known for providing expert advice in business crime, commercial litigation & regulation, and civil fraud, acting for a variety of clients from high-net-worth individuals to governments and financial institutions, both domestically and on an international level. Many of their cases are high profile, complex, and they have been ranked as ‘top tier’ by the leading legal directories.
The Team
The Team have been ranked 'Top Tier' for many years, with their Lawyers specialising in all aspects of fraud (civil and criminal); commercial disputes; international corporate investigations; and cross-border issues (including extradition and mutual legal assistance). The Firm prides itself on being able to provide a welcoming, supportive and collegiate environment, exposure to high quality cases and the opportunity to work with some of the strongest lawyers in the field.
The Candidate
We are now looking for a suitable candidate between 2 and 5 PQE. Candidates will need to demonstrate strong, high-quality civil or criminal litigation experience, with proven competence in these areas. Experience in UK sanctions and export controls (or a clear, demonstrable interest in these practice areas) is essential. Essential requirements include strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent organisation skills. The relevant candidate will also need to have the ability to work under pressure, manage a busy and varied caseload, with the ability to assimilate large amounts of information being critical.
