Data Protection & Compliance – London – US Firm - Partner
Our client is a prestigious US law firm with a well-established and thriving London office. As part of an ongoing strategic growth plan to expand its London partnership, the firm is seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded Data Protection and Compliance Solicitor to join at the Partner level.
The Role
The firm’s London office is recognized for its vibrant culture and commitment to sophisticated, cross-border legal work. You will lead and grow the data protection and compliance offering, providing expert guidance to a diverse client base that spans the firm’s key sectors, including financial services, technology, healthcare, and energy.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Develop and execute a strategy to further expand the firm’s data protection and compliance capabilities in London.
- Advise on complex, multi-jurisdictional data privacy matters, regulatory compliance, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the wider litigation and corporate teams to provide integrated, high-value advice to international and domestic clients.
- Maintain and develop a robust book of business, leveraging existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities within the firm’s network.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an ambitious, partner-level practitioner who can demonstrate:
- Extensive, high-level experience in data protection, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- A proven track record of successful business development and a demonstrable book of business.
