Responsibilities
- Deal with zSeries products and LDAPX escalations from support.
- Analyze cause of problems and give solutions to customers.
- If required, create necessary fixes for problems as per fix creation procedures – assembler load fixes or NC panel fixes.
- For LDAPX, correct and re-compile C code.
- Perform testing of any fixes.
- Manage HDISV environment, including re-applying system customizations on any new zOS images.
- Provide support for iSeries (AS400) environment.
- Provide test users and change passwords if required.
Qualifications
- Must have in-depth knowledge of:
- In-depth IBM assembler programming experience (at least 5 years and preferably 10+ years experience).
- RACF installation, configuration and programming.
- zOS and zVM SYSPROG skills including installation of zOS from scratch.
- CLIST, REXX, JES, VSAM, VTAM, 3270DS.
- Tivoli data server.
- SDBM.
- LDAP on zOS.
- TCP/IP stack on zOS.
- SYSPLEX.
- IBM C/C++.
- ACF2.
- TOPS iSeries configuration / TDS on iSeries.
- Session managers on zOS.
- SMP/ESMF exits / RACF exits programming experience.
- 2FA on zOS.
