JOB SUMMARY
The HVAC Installation Lead oversees/performs the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company specifications. As the lead installer, you are the leader of your installation team. Once instruction has been given to you by our Install manager, you are responsible for instructing your team members and executing a professional install job. You will work hands-on with your crew while installing a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment. It is your job to make sure the installation is done properly, safely, and to the ambitious standards of One Hour Heating and Air of Cape Cod, all while providing excellent customer service.

JOB DUTIES
- Direct oversight of installation dispatching, ordering, warehousing, truck inventory and maintenance, and tool inventory and maintenance
- Oversees the building and completion of installation job packets
- Ensuring complete and accurate forms in job folders
- Accurate ordering of materials to complete each installation
- Approves assignment of installation crews to each installation job
- Oversees the coordination of materials procurement with approved vendors for maximum efficiency and cost
- Oversees the tracking of all unused materials and returning or reusing on another job as applicable
- Oversees the inventory of all truck and warehouse material and product stock
- Maintains safety and quality as a top priority by scheduling and conducting monthly safety meetings
- Conducting regular job site and truck inspections
- Permits filing for installations requiring local permits to commence work
- Maintains departmental budget expectations to include job costing analysis of completed jobs
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- No less than 5 years' experience in residential replacement and retrofit HVAC systems is required
- Knowledgeable in local HVAC codes and the ability to make on-the-job applications
- Must display effective communication skills and technical competence
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Be able to follow OSHA requirements and safety precautions per company procedures and policies
- Must provide basic hand tools
- Excellent attention to detail
Compensation: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
