Your tasks:
- Monitoring the functionality of equipment, lifts and technical facilities throughout the hotel and carefully keeping track of defects.
- Communicating, liaising and cooperating with external companies, in particular checking any maintenance work.
- Undertaking a tour of the premises every day to identify any defects in the hotel and carrying out the appropriate repair and renovation work.
- Gaining interdepartmental insights into new areas of activity by working in our multicultural teams.
- Ensure preventive maintenance programs are implemented and followed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Supervise maintenance team.
- Management of hotel health and safety compliance.
- Project management including management of external contractors.
- Have completed a technical apprenticeship and/or have professional experience of one or more trades or building maintenance or be looking for a change of career.
- Be open and communicative, pay attention to detail and be interested in technology.
- Be flexible and creative and have an excellent sense of quality, even in stressful situations.
- Be a team player and willing to provide assistance across departments – we achieve our results together.
