One Hatfield Hospital, part of Phoenix Hospital Group, invites applications for a forward‐thinking and experienced Marketing and Events Assistant to join our Business Development team. The role supports the delivery of a successful marketing strategy across multiple sites, working closely with Consultants and GPs to organise, promote and run primary care educational sessions and patient‐focused events, while contributing to a wide range of digital and offline marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Business Development Managers in delivering the Group sales and marketing strategy
  • Create and manage engaging social media content across multiple sites
  • Edit and update website content, including consultant profiles, services, pricing and events
  • Write compelling web copy for treatment pages and blog posts
  • Liaise with Consultants and hospital teams to gather content for newsletters, articles and presentations
  • Design and produce newsletters, posters, leaflets and other marketing collateral
  • Organise, promote and support primary care and patient‐focused events (including occasional evening and Saturday work)
  • Build relationships with local GPs and oversee communications regarding services and events
  • Provide administrative support for health professional and patient events
  • Support online campaigns and social media activity
  • Provide general marketing and administrative support as required
  • Produce monthly competitor reports

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English
  • A Level or proven marketing experience essential

Experience

  • Previous experience writing marketing copy (essential)
  • Video editing experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Event management experience (advantageous but not essential)

  • Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Proactive and self‐motivated with the confidence to use initiative
