An excellent opportunity has arisen at One Hatfield Hospital for a Registered Nurse to support the delivery of high-quality care within the Outpatients department.
Reporting to the Outpatient Manager, the successful Registered Nurse will be required to provide the highest standard of individualised patient care as part of the clinical team, including:
- Ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during their visit/admission to the hospital.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance in line with hospital policies, national guidelines and best practice standards.
- Carrying out clinical nursing procedures, including wounds, assistance with minor procedures, monitoring vital signs, venepuncture and chaperoning.
Please note: this is a FlexiBank role working on an \βas and when required\β basis; you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff during periods of annual leave or absence.

Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with NMC
Experience
- Clinical nursing experience in outpatients or clinic environment
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team
Skills
- Demonstrable knowledge and skills and competency of required clinical practice.
- Phlebotomy, cannulation, ECGs, and intravenous antibiotics would be an advantage.
- Comprehensive written, numerical and verbal communication skills
- Experience in computer skills using MS Office Suite and web based reporting systems
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
- Clear understanding of safeguarding principles
- Enthusiasm for cross functional working within clinical departments as reasonably required.
- Experience in the private sector
- Relevant clinical skills in addition to assist with minor procedures
