OneHealth is looking for a qualified Consultant Anaesthetist to join our Anaesthetic Team focusing on West Yorkshire. The role involves providing anaesthetic services to surgeons for NHS patients undergoing elective surgery across several independent sector hospitals. The candidate must hold relevant practising privileges at each hospital and be prepared to travel between sites.
Main duties:
- Assess and operate on NHS patients referred via the NHS e‑Referral System.
- Obtain and maintain practising privileges for each hospital where procedures are undertaken.
- Provide anaesthetic care for elective surgery in Orthopaedic, Spinal, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Urology specialities.
- Travel across West Yorkshire to support multiple hospital sites.
Person Specification:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience working within relevant surgical specialities in a similar role, in a private or NHS setting.
- Previous NHS experience.
- Must be on the GMC Specialist Register with no licensing restrictions.
