One Health is looking for a qualified Consultant Anaesthetist to join our growing Anaesthetic Team. This is a full-time employed position and work carried out will be within a range of independent sector hospitals. The applicant will be subject to the relevant practicing privileges at each hospital and must be prepared to travel between locations. The applicant should have experience of working as a substantive Consultant within the NHS, must be on the GMC Specialist Register and have no licensing restrictions.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve providing anaesthetic services to our surgeons for NHS patients undergoing elective surgery. Surgical specialities we provide are Orthopaedic, Spinal, General Surgery and Gynaecology. Theatre lists are held at a number of locations and the applicant will be expected to travel between hospital sites.
Person Specification
Experience – Essential criteria
You will have strong written/verbal communication in the English language. You will have experience of working within the relevant surgical specialities within a similar role, in a private or NHS setting and will have previous NHS experience, must be on the GMC Specialist Register and have no licensing restrictions.
