We are currently recruiting

A Clinical Services Administrator to provide administrative support to a group of Orthopaedic, Spinal, General Surgery, Urology and Gynaecology Consultants.

The role involves

Planning, managing and co-ordinating multiple Consultants\' diaries, making patient appointments, booking clinics and theatres, taking inbound and making outbound calls, and other administrative duties. Working as part of a team you will ensure every patient receives continuity, with the highest level of service and support throughout their care.

The successful candidate

You will be an excellent communicator, thrive in a fast paced environment and be able to work using your own initiative whilst maintaining regular updates with Consultants and your team. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks and have strong problem solving abilities. You should have a professional outlook, empathetic telephone manner and understand the importance of patient confidentiality.

Knowledge and skills

To apply for this position candidates must have a background within office administration and ideally experience within a medical environment, however commitment to providing excellence in patient service is what matters to us the most and in-house training will be given. Experience using Microsoft office packages, Excel, Word and Outlook is essential.
