THEATRE ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our busy Theatre Department as a Theatre Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment and wants to play a vital role in supporting patient care and theatre performance.
As a Theatre Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of our Theatre Services. Working as part of a dedicated team you will:
- Coordinate scheduling and surgical bookings with accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with consultants, secretaries, and theatre staff.
- Ensure accurate charging and clinical coding of procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to support seamless patient pathways.
- Contribute to service efficiency, patient safety, and the continued growth of our theatres.
SHIFTS: 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri.

QUALIFICATIONS
- GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent qualification
EXPERIENCE
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Previous administration experience in a business/healthcare sector environment.
- 2 years relevant experience within an administrative or customer service role, including dealing with patients
SKILLS
- Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence in liaising across all levels.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.
- A positive team player with an enthusiastic approach
DESIRABLES
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or other fast-paced environment.

Patients receive fast access to appointments with specialist Consultants, diagnostic imaging and treatment for a range of health concerns. Our private hospital has been designed with the latest technology and with patient care at its heart.
In September 2023, we joined with Phoenix Hospital Group, a leading London based private healthcare group. Phoenix provide exceptional patient centred care with three state-of-the-art medical facilities in the Harley Street Medical Precinct in Central London and one in Chelmsford, Essex.
One Ashford is next door to the William Harvey Hospital and is close to junction 10 of the M20. Parking is available and is ideally located for candidates living in and around the Ashford area.
