A high-profile engineering consultancy is searching for a Senior Civil Engineer to manage challenging design and delivery schemes from initial concept through to successful project handover. If you are a Chartered or near Chartered Civil Engineer with a strong background in site levels, drainage, and sustainable design, this could be your next significant career move.
The successful Senior Civil Engineer will:
- Drive the design process, defining project scope and estimating accurate delivery timelines;
- Execute complex civil design concepts using Civil 3D and Causeway Flow;
- Manage project teams, coordinating with clients, preparing fee proposals, and delivering project briefings;
- Provide essential guidance and professional mentoring to junior engineers;
- Conduct detailed design quality checks and supervise the creation of all technical drawings;
- Monitor project fees and commercial performance against the agreed scope of services;
- Represent the firm in meetings, collaborating effectively with clients, architects, and wider engineering teams;
- Conduct site visits and produce or review technical reports.
We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with:
- A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification);
- Chartered status (or actively working towards ICE Chartership);
- Expert proficiency in civil design software including Autodesk platforms and drainage tools;
- Comprehensive expertise in site levels, drainage systems, and surface design, ensuring regulatory compliance;
- A strong understanding of section agreements, S34, S104, S106 and S278;
Package:
- £45,000 - £60,000;
- Hybrid working - 3 days in the office;
