We are looking for an ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer who is open to learning new, specialist areas within the building consultancy space. This is a unique opportunity to move beyond standard building frames and master the complex engineering behind the world's most impressive building envelopes.
The Graduate Structural Façade Engineer will:
- Support senior engineers in the structural analysis and design of complex façade systems and components.
- Learn to produce robust structural calculations for various materials including glass, aluminium, steel, and stone.
- Assist in the creation of technical drawings and documentation for large-scale commercial and residential developments.
- Utilize and develop skills in specialist engineering software and automated calculation tools.
- Coordinate with architects and contractors to ensure façade designs meet both aesthetic and performance requirements.
- Participate in site visits and factory inspections to understand the manufacturing and installation process.
- Progress through a structured training programme designed to lead to professional Chartership.
