One Generation is currently working with a leading façade engineering consultancy to grow their structural façade engineering department. We are looking for an ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer who is open to learning new, specialist areas within the building consultancy space. This is a unique opportunity to move beyond standard building frames and master the complex engineering behind the world's most impressive building envelopes.
Support senior engineers in the structural analysis and design of complex façade systems and components. Learn to produce robust structural calculations for various materials including glass, aluminium, steel, and stone. Assist in the creation of technical drawings and documentation for large-scale commercial and residential developments. Utilize and develop skills in specialist engineering software and automated calculation tools. Coordinate with architects and contractors to ensure façade designs meet both aesthetic and performance requirements. Participate in site visits and factory inspections to understand the manufacturing and installation process. Progress through a structured training programme designed to lead to professional Chartership.
We are looking for a Graduate Structural Façade Engineer with:
- A Degree or Master’s in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a closely related discipline).
- A strong grasp of structural engineering principles and a desire to apply them to façade systems.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
