Overview
One Energy Projects are looking for a Solar/Sales Administrator with some admin experience who is keen to join a generous, youthful, vibrant yet hardworking team leading in the Renewable Sector. The role supports the sales team with administrative accuracy, processes, organisation, and CRM management, with potential growth to a sales executive over time.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of quotation, proposals and contracts.
- Administer the CRM system with up-to-date customer details.
- Book appointments for sales or engineers to visit clients, or arrange for client arrival at the office.
- Be the first port of call for customers and provide initial support before escalating as needed.
- Process sales orders from initial quotes/POs to delivery and handover.
- Coordinate with colleagues across the business and update internal systems to reflect responsibilities.
- Maintain daily task awareness and keep folders up to date.
- General office management of supplies and housekeeping.
- Report to management/Directors as required each week or when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role (preferred but not required in the Solar Industry).
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Analytical and accurate with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in making a difference to the planet through energy efficiency.
Education & Experience
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
- Renewable energy: 1 year (beneficial but not essential).
- Customer service: 1 year (required).
- Administration: 1 year (required).
Licenses
- Driving Licence (required).
Employment Details
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Hours: 37.5 per week; 9amβ5pm.
- Location: Office-based; main office in Birkenhead with travel to Manchester office as required over time.
