Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in London for a Manager at One Eighty One. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing staff. Key tasks include coordinating music events, overseeing the record and bottle shop, managing the cafe and bar, and ensuring a seamless experience for all patrons.

We are looking for an experienced and confident front of house manager with a passion for quality customer service to help establish this brand new music led concept that sits between record shop, cafe and bar. Alongside owners they will lead a small team of staff by example to create a family atmosphere that will translate to a welcoming, friendly but high quality level of table and bar customer service.

They will have great communication and interpersonal skills for managing staff and a high level of customer service, an eye for detail and exacting organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities & attributes include:

Customer Service: Setting tone of customer service with all staff, handling customer enquiries and bookings

Staff Management: Scheduling rotas, hiring staff, staff training

Inventory & Supply Management: Stock checking & ordering

Financial Management: P&L oversight, cost control and end of day accounting

Operations Oversight: Ensuring health and safety compliance, bar cleanliness and relevant record keeping

Problem solving: Ability to resolve conflicts and handle unexpected situations.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS, excel, google drives and changing barrels

Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years previous experience in the above for food and beverage operations day and night and ideally experience in a cocktail and barista service is preferable but not essential.
