We are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking, and proactive Technical Systems Manager to take ownership of our core network infrastructure and technical operations. This role is based in our Hulme offices and is central to ensuring our IT systems are secure, resilient, and capable of supporting a modern, growing organisation. You will oversee the design and optimisation of our network environment, lead improvements across the IT estate, and ensure we remain aligned with industry standards and best practices. You will also manage and develop our IT Service Desk Analysts, helping them grow in their roles while ensuring the delivery of exceptional support services. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role combining technical expertise, leadership, project management, and long-term strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement network strategies to support business objectives
- Lead, mentor, and support IT Service Desk Analysts
- Set goals, allocate tasks, and conduct performance reviews
- Foster a positive, collaborative working environment
- Offer 2nd and 3rd Line support to the helpdesk team
- Build strong relationships with internal staff
The postholder must have a full driving license & access to their own vehicle.
