The predicted salary is between 34000 - 39000 £ per year.

£34,000 - £39,000 (dependent on experience) Permanent, Full Time – 35 hours per week (flexible working patterns available) 30 days holidays (plus Bank Holidays) and office closure at Christmas. Flexible, Hybrid Working following a successful period of probation. Free onsite parking when working at One Education offices. Based in Manchester, travel to schools across Greater Manchester.

Due to successful engagement with new schools across Greater Manchester, we currently have opportunities for suitably qualified, highly motivated and experienced HR Business Partners to join our expanding HR & People Team. We provide high quality, specialist pupil facing and management services to schools and academies.

The team provides advice and practical support to schools and academies on a range of people management matters; staff conduct, attendance, grievance, capability, terms & conditions, contracts, restructures and all HR matters. In addition, we provide bespoke training and guidance to schools and academies on matters such as Equality & Diversity, Wellbeing, Mediation, Policy review, Job Evaluation, GDPR, Governance and matters relating to Safeguarding. We also advise and provide support to schools on emergencies and critical incidents.

  • have excellent inter-personal skills;
  • can juggle the roles of investigator, advisor, advocate, conciliator and manager;
  • can manage a busy caseload;

With the flexibility to manage your own diary and appointments, hybrid working, which includes time in the office, out in schools and at home, and excellent opportunities for sharing best practice across a team of professionals, this could be the opportunity you have been looking for.

Whilst experience of working in Education would be an advantage, it is not essential and full training will be available to the right candidate. All we ask is that you are Qualified to Level 2 in maths and English and have experience of working in a busy HR environment. Having a CIPD qualification would be desirable. As the role requires travel within Greater Manchester, you will need to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
