Based in Manchester, One Education is one of the largest education support companies in the north of England. We provide high quality, specialist pupil facing and management services to all educational establishments and agencies. We currently have an opportunity to recruit a talented and creative Head of Service for our HR & People Team to work in our dynamic, progressive and supportive service.

What are we looking for?
- CIPD Qualification
- Experience and a proven track record in a senior HR management role
- Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law and practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to communicate professionally, confidentially and in an approachable manner while inspiring, challenging and motivating others
- A reflective, solution focused approach, able to respond creatively to market demands
- Comfort working flexibly and autonomously, managing your own schedule and others
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Desirable
- Experience of working in the education sector in an HR capacity
- Experience leading quality improvement, coaching colleagues or driving change
- Experience of managing data, budgets and quality assurance processes
- Up-to-date knowledge of the educational landscape including challenges and trends
- The ability to design and deliver high quality training, CPD and bespoke support packages
- The confidence to promote services and products to schools and academies, and to liaise with organisations beyond schools to develop relationships between One Education and external partners
