About One Day Agency

One Day Agency is an integrated advertising and marketing agency with offices in Manchester, London, Paris, and Warsaw. In just six years, we've built a team of 20 specialists delivering campaigns for brands of all sizes across the globe, from fast-growing e-commerce brands to Formula 1 teams. We specialise in strategic media planning and buying across OOH, TV, Radio, Digital and wider ATL channels, helping brands grow through smart, commercially focused advertising. Our model is different from traditional agencies. We work fast, stay hands-on, and give people real ownership early.

The Role

We're looking for a Junior Growth Manager to join our fast-paced Growth Team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career in advertising, media planning and account management. Whilst a media background would be beneficial, it's not essential. What matters most is attitude, curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn.

Reporting to a Senior Growth Manager, you'll spend your first six months learning the foundations of media planning, client management and campaign delivery. You'll support the wider Growth Team across a variety of projects whilst developing the skills needed to eventually manage campaigns and client relationships independently. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll take on increasing ownership of opportunities and accounts. The long-term goal is for you to manage your own pipeline of clients, guiding them through the entire campaign lifecycle from initial enquiry through to campaign delivery and post-campaign reporting.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One day you might be helping build a media plan for a global campaign, the next supporting a client presentation, speaking with media owners, coordinating campaign delivery or preparing campaign results for a client review meeting. We're looking for someone who enjoys being busy, takes ownership of their work and isn't afraid to ask questions, learn quickly and get stuck in.

What You'll Learn

One of the biggest benefits of this role is exposure to the full lifecycle of an advertising campaign. Following your initial training period, you'll gradually take ownership of your own opportunities and accounts, including:

  • Managing inbound client enquiries
  • Qualifying client briefs and objectives
  • Building media plans and campaign recommendations
  • Presenting ideas and proposals
  • Coordinating campaign delivery
  • Managing client relationships
  • Working with media owners and suppliers
  • Monitoring campaign performance
  • Producing post-campaign reports and insights
  • Identifying opportunities for repeat business and account growth

Rather than being limited to one area of the agency, you'll gain experience across sales, account management, media planning, campaign delivery and client growth, giving you a well-rounded foundation for a long-term career in advertising.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years' experience in customer service, account management, sales, marketing or a client-facing role
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Confidence building relationships with clients and partners
  • Interest in advertising, media and marketing
  • Media experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 base + uncapped commissions (+£50,000 potential, avg. £10,000 first year)

WFH every Friday + 20 additional WFH days per year.

Up to 30 days annual leave

Doctor Care Anywhere, access to GP and Advanced Clinical Practitioner appointments, available 24/7, 365 days a year.

Unlimited training and development budget

High-end equipment and office setup

Exposure to international campaigns and clients across multiple markets

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Manchester-based or willing to commute 4 days per week
