Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a role that gives you flexibility, autonomy and a genuine work-life balance, while still offering the opportunity to work on major highways and infrastructure projects?
We're working with an established and highly respected specialist contractor who is looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of work across Areas 6 & 8, working on a mixture of high-profile and technically challenging projects.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you'll take commercial responsibility for your projects, working closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners to ensure successful commercial delivery.
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing the commercial performance of projects from start to completion
- Cost control, forecasting and reporting
- Subcontract procurement and management
- Valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
- Managing variations, change and commercial risk
- Supporting project teams with commercial advice
- Building strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners
