A leading privately-owned infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a major multi-million-pound rail & civils project in Crewe and surrounding areas. The Role:
- Commercial management of a major rail & civils scheme
- Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
- Cost reporting, forecasting and CVRs
- Contract administration under NEC contracts
- Managing variations, change and commercial risk
- Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff
- Working closely with operational teams to maximise project performance
What we're looking for:
- Experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, rail or civils
- Strong NEC contract knowledge
- Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
- Ability to manage projects independently
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ambitious individual seeking long-term career progression
Rail experience would be highly advantageous; however, candidates from a wider civils, infrastructure, highways, utilities or heavy construction background are also encouraged to apply.
