The Role: An established civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint a Site Engineer to support the delivery of infrastructure works in the Featherstone / Wakefield area. Working closely with the site and project management teams, you will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and to programme. This is a great opportunity for a Site Engineer looking to work on infrastructure and highways projects within a stable and growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out for civil engineering works including highways and infrastructure schemes.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Maintaining accurate site records and quality documentation.
  • Conducting site surveys and checks using modern setting out equipment.
  • Supporting project delivery alongside Site Managers and Project Engineers.
  • Monitoring works to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
  • Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with site procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, highways or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong setting out experience.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Good understanding of site documentation and quality processes.
  • Full UK driving licence.
