We're working with a highly respected specialist civil engineering contractor with an excellent reputation across, structural refurbishment, concrete repairs and wider civil engineering projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team in Surrey.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to take ownership of exciting and technically challenging projects, working closely with the pre-construction, commercial and operational teams.
You'll be involved in:
- Preparing accurate and competitive tenders and estimates
- Pricing civil engineering, structural and concrete repair projects
- Reviewing specifications, drawings and subcontractor quotations
- Identifying commercial opportunities and risks
- Working closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams
- Supporting the wider pre-construction and work-winning function
About You
We're looking for an experienced Estimator with a background in civil engineering. Structural works will be ideal but not essential.
You'll ideally have:
- Strong estimating/tendering experience within construction or civil engineering
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
- The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scope
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach and genuine ambition to progress
