We focus entirely on solving real-world industry problems by fusing new technology in the field of Video, IOT, Cloud and AI providing end to end solutions which allow our customers to dramatically improve their operational efficiency and safety.
We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual to join our team to support the business in further growing our flagship award-winning product: AIVR (Automated Intelligent Video Review), a state-of-the-art video technology system used by thousands of people in the rail industry.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our Project Management Team with a focus on running externally facing projects and contracts. These projects typically require a blend of existing in-house hardware/software product capability combined with product development and often further bespoke engineering work to create a turn-key end to end solution.
Responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with both customers and employees over multiple projects
- Monitor and govern project deliverables, deadlines and scope, presenting these on stakeholder update calls and in regular update reports
- Identify and manage project risks and problems
- Host, lead and control meetings, both internal and external
- Support the commercial team at pre-sales or bid stage
- Assist with managing key supplier relationships
- Interact with technical teams and help troubleshoot challenges to ensure deadlines blockers can be removed and deadlines are met
Personal Qualities and Experience
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and self-organised
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office and equivalent tools (Experience with MS Project is desirable, but not essential)
- Rail or similar industry experience ideal
- Pragmatic and focused on the business outcome
- Project Management qualification to a foundation level, although this can be done in job for the right candidate
