A dynamic opportunity for a Group Financial Controller or Finance Manager to join a fast-growing Premium QSR Group as their Head of Finance. The Head of Finance is a senior position reporting directly to the Founder & Managing Director.
The company currently operates 16 stores in the UK and 1 internationally, with plans to grow to a minimum of 25 stores in the next couple of years. With capital already raised, it is an exciting time to join this premium concept.
Role Overview:
The Head of Finance will be responsible for all areas of finance, working closely with operations. Key accountabilities include:
- Meticulous management and reporting of accounts
- Overseeing transaction processing by external accountants
- Risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Improving efficiency and systems within finance
- Developing new processes and shaping the direction of the organisation
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving management reporting and analysis across the business
- Developing investment reporting for retail stores
- Managing and improving inventory management and supply chain optimisation
- Financial risk strategy and intercompany accounting
- Compliance, due diligence, and governance
- Systems development and best practices for the business
- Managing external relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and other stakeholders
Skills and Experience:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualifications preferred
- Experience in developing systems and processes
- Exposure to a fast-moving Retail, FMCG, F&B or similar multi-site environment
- Ability to develop a strong vision for the Finance function
- Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage a varied workload
- Proficient in IT, with experience in Xero, Revel Epos, Dear Inventory Management systems, and Excel
- Strong core accounting skills gained in industry
- Highly personable and energetic relationship builder
- Proven relationship management skills with auditors, bankers, and key external stakeholders
