To lead the operational support structure around the CEO, overseeing routines, schedules, logistics, and priorities to ensure consistency and reliability across daily operations. Manage junior support staff responsible for coordination and task execution, setting clear standards for efficiency, organisation, and follow-through. Maintain oversight of commitments and workflows, ensuring alignment across personal and professional priorities while reinforcing accountability and operational discipline. This structure enables the CEO to maintain focus on strategic leadership and high-level decision-making.

We are seeking a high-calibre operator who thrives in high-performance, high-expectation environments. You bring structure, discipline, and calm intensity, staying composed under pressure while thinking two steps ahead. You operate with discretion, maturity, and high standards, motivated by responsibility, ownership, and impact.

  • Operate confidently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, maintaining control and composure.
  • Strong organisational systems and structured thinking, creating order, clarity, and execution.
  • Communicate with confidence, clarity, and appropriate authority across teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate loyalty, integrity, and sound judgment in sensitive and high-trust environments.

  • Lead meeting preparation by producing briefing materials and ensuring actions are tracked and delivered.
  • Manage and develop Performance Associates while setting clear standards and accountability.
  • Establish structure and discipline within the CEO Office to protect the CEO’s focus and strategic capacity.

The creation of the Executive Suite presents a unique opportunity to work directly alongside the CEO as the business prepares for its next phase of transformation and development. The individuals joining this structure will form a tight-knit, trusted team responsible for strengthening execution, supporting leadership effectiveness, and helping shape the future direction of the organisation. This opportunity offers a level of exposure and practical experience comparable to an MBA, but gained through direct involvement in the day-to-day running and development of the business.

  • Valuable in making suggestions and driving innovation.
  • Maintains an organised file library and shows growing confidence when speaking with the team and representing the CEO when needed.
  • HR administration is up to date and well-maintained.

We will be using a temp-to-perm framework for all three roles to ensure the right long-term fit for both the organisation and individuals joining the Executive Suite. This approach provides an opportunity for both parties to collaborate during an initial evaluation period, assessing role fit, working style, reliability, demonstrated capability in the role and long-term alignment potential. The initial engagement period will typically last three months. During this time, individuals will:

  • Undertake the responsibilities of their role.
  • Become familiar with the CEO’s working style.
  • Gain insight into the operational environment of the business.

During the three-month trial period, either party may terminate employment according to the following structure:

  • Week 1: No notice required by either party.
  • Weeks 2 - 12: One week’s notice required by either party.

This framework ensures a clear, fair process for mutual assessment. At the end of the evaluation period, a decision will be made regarding transition to a permanent position. The decision will consider:

  • Performance and delivery within the role.
  • Reliability and accountability.
  • Alignment with the operating principles of the Executive Suite.
  • Long-term suitability within the organisational structure.

Where alignment is confirmed, the role will transition to a permanent appointment. The intention of this framework is to build a long-term, high-performing team within the Executive Suite, ensuring the right fit for both the organisation and the individuals involved.

This opportunity is exciting, inspiring and a big achievement when committed to. While each role has a clear purpose and defined responsibilities, the growth and impact you create within it are shaped by you. At Blue Gem, we invest deeply in our people, and we ask that you invest in the opportunity to maximise your development, contribution, and long-term potential.
