- What You Will Bring
- Previous experience in a similar pastry role within a luxury environment is advantageous
- A passion for creating exceptional food and delivering consistently high standards
- A keen eye for detail and pride in the presentation and quality of your work
- The ability to thrive in a fast paced, quality driven environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple requests effectively
- A positive and collaborative approach to working as part of a busy Pastry Kitchen team
- Good spoken and written English
- NVQ Level 1 and 2 Catering qualification, or equivalent, is beneficial
- Level 2 Food Safety and Catering qualification, or equivalent
- Your Responsibilities
As our new Pastry Chef de Partie, you will play an important role in delivering the exceptional quality, creativity and attention to detail that define our pastry offering by:
- Ensuring all menu items are prepared and presented in accordance with established recipes, methods and presentation standards
- Preparing the correct levels of mise en place and ensuring your section is ready for service
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation at all times
- Ensuring all purchased and prepared food is correctly labelled, dated, rotated and stored in line with legal and hygiene requirements
- Supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the Pastry Kitchen during service
- Assisting Senior Chefs on duty with the checking in of deliveries
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to help deliver memorable experiences for our guests
