About One Advisory Established in 2006, we have grown to become one of the City’s leading advisory firms, providing comprehensive and cost‑effective financial reporting and governance services to London‑listed public companies. Our services have historically focussed on companies looking to IPO on the LSE (Main Market and AIM) and Aquis, as well as established PLCs, but we also support private and investor‑backed businesses across a range of services. One Advisory has recently been acquired by FRP Advisory Group.
At One Advisory, we’re hiring an Executive or Senior Executive (depending on experience) to join our dynamic governance team. Unlike other roles at this level, you’ll be in the boardroom early in your role, learning from and supporting senior colleagues and gaining an insight into how boards operate across a range of markets and sectors. We support a wide range of clients, from fast‑growing private companies to AIM‑listed tech startups to established, premium‑listed retailers, and everything in between. As you develop, you’ll take on more responsibility, with a view to growing into the lead role on a portfolio of clients once qualified and sufficiently experienced.
What You’ll Be Doing Our team supports small, medium and large listed and unlisted businesses, and you’ll be involved in every part of the Governance services we provide to them. There are no silos here! You’ll have a varied client base, which could include a mix of FTSE/Main market, AIM, Aquis and private clients. You’ll be involved with every part of the Board and Committee meeting cycle, engaging with directors on agendas and papers, attending and minuting Board and Committee meetings. You’ll plan and attend shareholder meetings. You will advise clients on their Annual Reports and how to meet the requirements of the Governance Codes which apply to them. You will support clients with MAR compliance advice, records and filings.
Role You’ll be involved with an interesting and varied range of client projects along the way. Our clients are regularly involved in projects which span the full range of the Governance Professional’s role. We help our clients to:
- carry out M&A transactions
- undertake IPOs, RTOs and delisting
- move between markets
- conduct equity fundraisings
- execute share buybacks and capital reorganisations
- and much more…
Your portfolio of UK TopCo and subsidiary companies will expand your experience of both routine and project‑related statutory filings and regulatory disclosures. You’ll contribute to developing the team further through technical research, involvement in improving our processes, and, in time, helping to train and develop other staff in our growing team. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in business development activities from networking events to LinkedIn content production.
Learning environment You’ll benefit from an excellent knowledge base and internal support system: a friendly high‑performing team with huge breadth and depth of experience; an annual internal CPD training plan; a huge resource of self‑service training resources across the full scope of everything we do; a market‑leading study support package. If you want to become great at what you do, and add breadth and depth to your skillset, we are the team to join.
