Ondato is a leading provider of identity verification, compliance, and KYC solutions, helping businesses streamline onboarding processes and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. We're looking for an experienced PR and Communications leader to drive our communications strategy, shape the company's narrative, lead media and crisis communications across multiple markets, and partner with executives to strengthen our reputation and brand growth.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute the company’s global communications strategy, aligning it with business, brand and growth objectives.
  • Own the company’s messaging, company narrative and key communication materials across internal and external channels.
  • Coordinate communications across Lithuania, the UK, Canada and the US, using reputation, media and stakeholder insights to set priorities.
  • Lead proactive and reactive media relations, building strong relationships with journalists, editors and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver PR campaigns, thought leadership initiatives and market-specific communications across target markets.
  • Lead crisis and issues communications, ensuring timely, consistent and well-coordinated responses.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, People and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging and prepare executives for media and public appearances.
  • Lead and develop the Communications team, manage agencies and budgets, and define KPIs to measure and improve communications performance.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience in communications, public relations or a similar senior communications role, ideally within an international corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing communications strategies across multiple markets.
  • Strong expertise in proactive and reactive media relations, supported by an established network of journalists and media contacts.
  • Proven experience in reputation management, crisis communications and issues management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex business or product topics into clear and compelling messages.
  • Professional working proficiency or full fluency in English.
  • A strategic, data-driven mindset combined with a hands-on approach, strong judgement and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, including experience advising senior executives, developing teams and managing external agencies.
