ONDA is a network of extraordinary people, places and experiences. Our goal is to empower people with shared interests by building real human connections, accessing intimate communities, and unlocking events and experiences across the world. These spaces are currently composed of a curated collective of premium workspaces and members clubs around the world with respective experiences, networks and events. These members are passionate individuals including entrepreneurs, travelers, artists, professionals, and more. Our offices are located in London, but our customer base and collection of spaces span across the world.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer that can lead our UX and product design for our website and app. This person would also be a key individual delivering the ONDA lifestyle experience. You will be reporting directly to the CEO and COO. We have a hybrid work model for candidates in London and NYC. We also believe talent can be found in other places, so we are open to candidates between +3 GMT (Moscow, Istanbul) and -5 GMT (US East Coast).

You will be responsible for:

  • Becoming the first design team member setting the design culture in the organization
  • Helping scale design efforts by creating and maintaining key user flows, interaction designs, brand guidelines, design principles and systems, and processes
  • Owning the end-to-end design process from working with user research to collaborating with engineering to deliver designs for core features of the product
  • Guide the product priorities for the engineering team based on our users’ needs, manage the product backlog, and work closely to a minimal viable launch and ongoing product launches thereafter
  • Deeply understand and identify user desires and pain points through user research such as through user calls and data analysis
  • Agile feature specification and ensuring engineering has well-scoped features and designs to work with
  • Shipping the product by aligning the team around the product roadmap, feature priorities and timelines
  • Syncing the team around clear product vision, design vision, and building the underlying OKRs/KPIs

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience bringing a high quality digital product from concept to completion and launch
  • Experience designing products for consumer applications on desktop, web, and/or mobile (startup, marketplace and consumer product experience are a plus)
  • Experience interviewing customers and running user experience research
  • Strong communication skills - you’ll be to synthesize insights and share the results of tests and discussing technical problems
  • Ability to take product ideas from hypotheses to requirements and designs to implementation within a structured framework
  • A direct hands on approach to product requirements and product design
  • Thrive in uncertainty but enjoy collaboration (we are moving quickly!)
  • You are meticulous about the product but also take methodical approaches to improving the overall roadmap
  • Ability to iterate through work quickly
  • You are passionate about building a world class lifestyle platform
  • You have the experience with at least one of the following: Sketch, Figma
