This appointment is for a Consultant Medical Oncologist with an interest in Acute Oncology and Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP)/Metastases of Unknown Origin (MUO) based at University Hospital Southampton. You will join the Medical Oncology consultant team, specifically:
- Undertake the Acute Oncology Lead role
- Provide Senior oversight and support to the Acute Oncology Team
- Participate in Acute Oncology Service development across Cancer Care
- Provide specialist Medical Oncology input with expertise in Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy for CUP patients
- Treat patients with CUP at UHS
- Provide oncology input to the UHS CUP MDT
The post is available as a 10.25 PA post. Part time or job share applicants will be considered.
