About the Role: The Vice President of FP&A is a strategic finance leader reporting to the CFO. This role acts as a key partner to the executive team, business leaders, and private equity sponsors to provide actionable insights driving growth, profitability, and enterprise value. Operating in a private equity-backed, SaaS/subscription environment, you will build scalable planning processes, enhance financial visibility, and support the company through growth, transformation, and potential exit events.

Your responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Lead company-wide budgeting, long-range strategic planning, rolling forecasts, and driver-based scenario financial modeling across revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
  • PE, Board, & Performance Reporting: Own the preparation of board presentations, investor materials, monthly operating reviews.
  • SaaS Metrics & Dashboarding: Drive analysis of SaaS-specific KPIs, including ARR, MRR, CAC, CLV, and churn rate, to inform business strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Partnering: Serve as a trusted advisor to departmental heads (Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations) to evaluate investments, support compensation planning, and improve pipeline visibility.
  • Team Leadership & System Optimisation: Build, mentor, and lead a FP&A team while driving the strategy for finance automation, data integration, and BI/planning tools.
  • Drive Finance Transformation & Systems Optimisation: Lead in executing finance transformation projects by identifying opportunities for workflow automation, system enhancements, and Corporate Performance Management (CPM) tool implementations to streamline planning, maximize operational efficiency, and ensure data reliability.

Who you are:

  • Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • You possess 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with senior FP&A leadership roles, including 5+ years directly supporting SaaS or subscription business models.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, Microsoft Business Central, Excel, Tableau, SQL and Google Sheets.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS KPIs such as ARR, MRR, CAC, CLV, and churn rate.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior and operational stakeholders while confidently challenging the status quo.
  • Experience with Corporate Performance Management (CPM) tools and finance transformation initiatives is a plus.
  • Strong financial modeling and scenario planning expertise.
