Oncert Ltd is seeking skilled and experienced Electricians to join our growing team. We provide comprehensive electrical services to social housing properties across North London, Herefordshire, and Essex. About the Role:
As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of electrical systems within social housing properties. Your duties will include:
- Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
- Completing remedial and reactive electrical work
- Undertaking planned electrical upgrades and rewires
- Responding to call-outs and emergencies
- Working on a variety of domestic properties and communal areas
- Utilizing a company-provided PDA and laptop for job instructions and reporting

Qualifications and Experience:
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Own hand tools, power tools, and a calibrated multimeter (preferred)
- Proven experience in carrying out EICRs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working within social housing (desirable)
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (37.5 hours per week)
- Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet client needs and targets
- Participation in an out-of-hours rota (1 week in 4 for North London & Herefordshire)
