About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Motion Graphics Designer to join our AV Creative Advertising team to work across a portfolio of streaming, TV, movie, and entertainment clients. This role is responsible for our motion graphics output, working with our creative departments to deliver best-in-class campaign materials from inception to delivery. You will report to the Creative Director, AV Creative Advertising, and work closely with Editors, Creatives, and Producers.
Who you are
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Provable advanced knowledge working with After Effects including 3rd party plugins (Red Giant, Boris, Sapphire) as well as other programs within the Adobe Creative suite such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Cinema 4D as well as Octane or Redshift, Houdini would be a bonus.
- A strong sense of design, typography, and the ability to quickly adapt to any changing trends and visually tell a story using the given tools within your craft.
- Self-motivation and drive while building a strong working relationship with the wider AV and creative teams, able to handle difficult tasks calmly and proactively.
- The ability to identify the need and learn new software when needed.
- Great attention to detail, great file management, and a high level of technical competency.
- Strong communication skills to fully understand and execute a given brief.
- The ability to work closely with the Producers and troubleshoot any software issues that may arise with the IT team.
Requirements to be considered:
- 3+ years in the streaming or broadcast entertainment space working on or for major streaming, movie, and TV brands, platforms, channels.
- Demonstrated true passion and love for working in the MGFX realm for Entertainment.
- Truly excellent skills in typography and layout.
- Current knowledge of the streaming, movie, and TV industry and trends.
- Portfolio or website of your entertainment work.
