We are looking for fulltime Nursery Assistants and Nursery Practitioners to join our team. Must have level 2 or 3 childcare qualifications.
Essentials for the posts are:
- Having a warm smiling face that makes every child feel welcome
- Remembering the names of many children, their pets and special toys
- The ability to sing out of tune in front of a crowd; singing in tune would be a bonus but not essential
- The ability to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people
- If a child asks you to be the captain of their pirate ship, you will be the best captain there could be
- Have the ability to pretend to eat play-dough creations realistically and drink many cups of pretend tea
- Must be able to read a ten-page story upside down with at least five interruptions
- You must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families
- To ensure the safety of all children, following the nursery safeguarding policies and procedures.
Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications
Hours: Monday - Friday- 7.30-4pm/9.30-6pm
