About the role: The Account Manager is responsible and accountable for the effective and efficient day-to-day management of business and will be a critical team member in owning and building internal and external relationships. The role combines organisational discipline, intuition, and assertiveness with outstanding people skills. It is also about continuously seeking out new opportunities to grow the business while keeping a tight control on budgeting and forecasting. This role is responsible for the project management and delivery of creative excellence across all creative requirements to support the launch and subsequent roll-out of specific campaign materials. Project management will encompass a variation from POS, Creative, digital, AV, co-ordination of retailer approvals, and internal/external people management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the briefing, approval, and production of all creative materials, within deadline and ensuring all assets are approved and sit within guidelines.
  • Ensure the quality of briefs into the creative department is robust, accurate, well thought-through, insightful, and inspiring.
  • Taking Full Ownership: Ensuring accountability for tasks and responsibilities, including proactive management and resolution of issues.
  • Proactively identifying client needs and ensuring alignment with account strategies.
  • Manage client projects, end-to-end management ensure campaigns/projects are delivered on time and within budget creative spend and providing regular updates to the SAM regarding spend.
  • Support the CSD in holding regular meetings, setting clear objectives and expectations for service levels.
  • Manage rate cards and communication between parties.
  • Demonstrate strong relationship-building skills with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Instill confidence and demonstrate a pro-active and can-do attitude across all areas of the role.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the resolution of queries and potential challenges, raising and highlighting when appropriate to the SAM.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, can-do attitude at all times.
  • Anticipate challenges and opportunities and take initiative to address them.
  • Develop a strategic mindset by considering the bigger picture in your decision-making processes.
  • Support on ad hoc requirements.
  • Build and nurture effective communication of creative direction and needs between client, agency, and all internal departments.

Key requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ Marketing/Advertising experience.
  • Can strongly and effectively manage relationships while delivering projects to the highest standard.
  • Strong creative management experience required, preferably within agency and/or entertainment industry experience.
  • Proven track record in a similar style of role whether it be client or agency based.
  • Flexible and remains calm under pressure.
  • A strong communicator, able to work with people at all levels outside and within the organisation.
  • Excellent process and project management skills.
  • Able to work to deadlines and budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent reporting skills.
  • Computer literate and familiar with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
