Role Summary
The Finance Business Partner will provide Commercial Business Partnering across the OFA Group with specific focus and support on Software Production and Group projects, building out financial metrics and analytics, providing ad-hoc financial analysis and support long term planning to guide decision making and inform business strategy.
Role Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding FP&A team at OFA. You will support partnering across the Software Production leadership team, providing financial support and analytical insight into business performance, and participating in Group wide projects to aid decision making. The Finance Business Partner role will provide commercial support to all aspects of financial management in areas such as Investment cases, Budgeting / Forecasting, Ad-hoc analysis and Strategic planning. A key part of the role is building strong relationships across the Software production leadership team, influencing and challenging stakeholders to ensure the business is geared for maximum performance. Key to the success of the role will be a data-led focus on analysis providing insights relating to SaaS metrics to both support in the running of the business and the reporting of key value-drivers to investors.
Experience of working in Software with high volume/high recurring-revenue business models and an understanding of the metrics required to measure performance and drive growth would be a benefit. Job Responsibilities
- Business Partnering with Senior Function leaders across Software Production and wider OFA group.
- Focus on expansion of core financial metrics.
- Support annual Budget and Long-Term Strategic planning processes.
- Leverage large datasets in development of appropriate financial KPIs for reporting to OFA Exco and the Board.
- Support preparation of financial reporting and analysis to be presented to Exco, the Board and Banks / Investors.
- Work closely with team members across the wider Finance function to deliver on core objectives relating to e.g. accuracy and timeliness of reporting, enhancing KPIS analytics and providing business insight.
- Ad hoc project work as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA).
- Ability to partner, influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
- Familiar with managing large datasets using appropriate tools to deliver meaningful insight/analysis.
- Highly organized, flexible & resilient with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Commercial awareness, pragmatic with high work ethic.
- SaaS business model experience preferred.
- Private Equity Experience preferred.
- NetSuite experience an advantage.
- Power BI experience an advantage.
