We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable handling high volumes of financial data with accuracy and efficiency.
THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE – 4 days in the office for the first 2 months, followed by 3 days in the office thereafter.
- Accounts payable from receiving purchase orders to preparing payment runs
- Supplier and credit card reconciliations
- Processing monthly payroll
- Accounts receivable monitoring and reconciliation
- Performing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Supporting the Finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
- Ad hoc analysis and financial project work
Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role, ideally in a high-volume environment (minimum 2 years experience).
Strong numerical and data entry skills with high attention to detail.
Strong IT skills including Excel. You must be comfortable handling large volumes of data.
AAT, part or fully qualified.
The salary on offer for this role is £25000- £30000 depending on experience.
