Your Role at a Glance
We’re looking for a creative and fast-moving Motion Designer, who also has the ability to help us dominate our social media presence online with engaging and dynamic content. You’ll be creating high-volume, trend-savvy content daily using Adobe Suite with the support of AI tools—think captivating motion graphics, reels, educational videos and more. If you’re a designer with a sharp eye for viral moments, a solid grip on social platforms, and know how to move fast without losing quality, we’d love to have you onboard!
Location & Flexibility
- Full-time, permanent role
- 40 hours per week, 9am to 5:30pm with half hour lunch break
- This position is permanent and will be based out of our Head Office in Bridgend, with the exception of working remotely 1 day a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong design and motion skills using tools in After Effects, Photoshop, or similar.
- Proven ability to create high-volume content daily, including images, memes, GIFs, and short videos.
- Develop motion and still graphics using PSD branded templates, ensuring brand consistency and delivery.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., Mid-journey, Runway, ChatGPT, Canva AI) to speed up content creation is very favourable.
- Ability to design for multiple platforms — Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Linked In, Youtube and TikTok — including reels, carousels, stories, and motion graphics.
- Deep understanding of internet and sport trends, meme culture, and viral formats.
- A keen eye for style and consistency — able to follow and maintain brand guidelines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with daily delivery expectations.
- Strong knowledge of social media marketing and how content drives engagement.
- Self-starter, highly creative, and dependable with strong time management.
- Bonus: Familiarity with scheduling tools would be advantageous.
About You
- Excellent skills in developing motion graphics with the main objective of promoting product, a brand or service.
- Experience with a similar social media role within the sport, fashion or lifestyle industry is required.
- Can demonstrate growing engagement and audiences across social media platforms from previous work and projects.
- A strong creative eye, attention to detail, and overall genuine passion for the power of social media is key
- Highly organised with strong written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative style of working
- A Degree in Graphic Design & Communication or similar is desirable
- Remote work opportunity 1 day a week.
