An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join one of the country's leading corrugated board manufacturers & sheet-feeders. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background with mechanical capabilities and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ level 2/3 or City & Guilds part 1 & 2.
The role will be working as part of a team at our Wolverhampton factory undertaking a range of maintenance duties including breakdowns, repairs, and PPMs. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works.
Duties:
- Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work and cover breakdowns.
- Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
- Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
- Ensure all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.
- Work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all times.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with clients and colleagues.
- Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPIs.
Qualifications:
- City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation OR NVQ level 2/3.
- 17th or 18th Edition.
Salary / Package:
Basic salary £40,000 - £45,000 negotiable PLUS Overtime. Call Out allowance paid. 30 days holiday.
